By accessing our Website or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Products & Services

1.1 Jewellery

We create high-end, handcrafted jewellery made to order using precious metals and lab-grown diamonds and gemstones. Our product descriptions and images are provided as accurately as possible, though slight variations may occur due to the handmade nature of our pieces.

1.2 Lab-Grown Diamonds & Gemstones

All diamonds and gemstones used in our designs are lab-grown. These stones share the same chemical and physical properties as mined stones and may contain natural growth characteristics or inclusions. These features are normal and are not considered defects.

1.3 Bespoke Jewellery Design Service

Our bespoke service is a collaborative process between you and our design team. All design sketches, drawings, CAD files, prototypes, and related materials remain the intellectual property of Vault Atelier, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

2. Ordering & Payment

2.1 Made-to-Order Jewellery

All jewellery is created specifically for you once your order is placed. Because each piece is individually produced, we do not hold ready-made stock.

2.2 Deposit Requirement

A 50% non-refundable deposit is required before we begin producing your jewellery or initiating any custom design work.
The remaining balance must be paid in full prior to dispatch.

2.3 Custom Orders

For bespoke or highly personalised designs:

  • Design development will begin once the 50% deposit has been received.

  • Timeframes vary based on design complexity and availability of materials.

2.4 Pricing

Prices are listed in Australian Dollars and may change without notice. We reserve the right to correct any pricing or listing errors and cancel orders if necessary.

2.5 Payments

We accept the payment methods shown at checkout. Payments are processed securely via trusted third-party providers.

3. Shipping & Delivery

  • We ship domestically and internationally using insured, reliable couriers.

  • Delivery timeframes are estimates and may vary.

  • Risk transfers to you once the order has been dispatched.

International customers are responsible for any customs duties, taxes, or import charges.

4. Returns, Refunds & Exchanges

4.1 No Change-of-Mind Refunds or Exchanges

All jewellery is made to order, therefore we do not offer refunds or exchanges for change of mind.

4.2 Custom & Bespoke Jewellery

Custom and bespoke pieces are non-refundable, except where required by law.

4.3 Faulty Items

If you believe your item is faulty, please contact us within 7 days of receiving it and include clear photographs.
If a manufacturing fault is verified, we will provide repair, replacement, or refund options in line with consumer law.

Damage caused by improper care, accidental impact, or normal wear and tear is not considered a fault.

5. Jewellery Care & Repairs

We provide care instructions with each purchase. Lab-grown stones and fine metals require thoughtful handling.
Repairs for damage or resizing may be available at an additional cost.

6. Intellectual Property

All content and designs on the Website — including text, images, branding, and bespoke jewellery concepts, are the property of Vault Atelier and may not be reproduced without written permission.

7. Privacy

We handle your personal information responsibly and in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Information is used for order fulfilment, communication, and marketing (if you opt in). We do not sell personal information to third parties.

8. Website Use

You agree not to misuse the Website, interfere with its operation, or use its content for commercial purposes without permission.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for:

  • shipping delays or disruptions

  • loss or damage arising from misuse of jewellery

  • indirect or consequential losses

Our total liability is limited to the amount paid for the product or service in question.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Australia, and any disputes will be resolved exclusively in the courts of Australia.

11. Amendments

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Website indicates acceptance of any revised Terms.

Shipping & Returns

At Vault Atelier, every piece of jewellery is handcrafted to order using premium materials and lab-grown diamonds and gemstones. This policy outlines how your order is shipped, delivered, and how we manage returns and warranty claims.

Shipping Policy

1. Production Timeframes

All jewellery is made to order.
Standard production time is 6 weeks, depending on design complexity, metal choice, and the availability of lab-grown stones.
These timeframes are estimates, and we will notify you of any unexpected delays.

2. Shipping Methods

2.1 Domestic Shipping

We ship nationwide using insured, trackable courier services to ensure your jewellery arrives safely.

2.2 International Shipping

We ship internationally using trusted couriers with full tracking and insurance.

Shipping costs are calculated at checkout.

3. Delivery Timeframes

Delivery times vary depending on your location and courier service. Please note:

  • Delivery occurs after production is complete.

  • External factors such as customs, weather, or peak periods may cause delays.

Tracking details will be provided once your order is dispatched.

4. Customs, Duties & Taxes

For international customers:

  • Customs duties, taxes, and import fees are the responsibility of the customer.

  • These charges are not included in our product prices or shipping fees.

5. Risk of Loss

All orders are insured during transit.
Once the courier confirms delivery, responsibility transfers to the customer.

6. Incorrect Shipping Information

Please ensure your shipping address is accurate at checkout.
We cannot refund or replace items lost due to incorrect address details provided by the customer.

Returns & Exchanges Policy

1. Made-to-Order & Custom Jewellery

All jewellery is crafted specifically to order. As a result, we do not accept returns or exchanges for change of mind.

This applies to:

  • Made-to-order pieces

  • Custom or bespoke designs

  • Personalised items

These items are non-refundable, except as required by law.

2. Refunds

Refunds are not offered for:

  • Change of mind

  • Incorrect sizing ordered by the customer

  • Variations inherent to lab-grown stones (such as internal growth patterns)

  • Wear and tear, accidental damage, or improper handling

3. Faulty Items

If you believe your jewellery has a manufacturing fault:

  1. Contact us within 7 days of receiving your order.

  2. Provide clear photographs and a detailed description of the issue.

  3. Our team will assess the item and advise whether it falls under a manufacturing fault.

If confirmed, we will offer remedies in line with consumer law, including replacement.

12-Month Manufacturer’s Warranty

We offer a 12-month manufacturer’s warranty on all jewellery purchased from Vault Atelier.

This warranty covers:

  • Manufacturing defects

  • Structural faults

  • Issues arising from workmanship or materials

This warranty does not cover:

  • Wear and tear

  • Scratches, dents, or knocks

  • Damage caused by impact, chemicals, water, or improper care

  • Loss of stones caused by external damage

  • Any alterations made by third parties

If you wish to make a warranty claim, please contact us with photographs and a description of the fault. Warranty claims are assessed on a case-by-case basis to determine whether the issue is due to manufacturing or external factors.

Returns for Faulty or Warranty-Approved Items

1. Return Shipping

If a manufacturing fault is confirmed or a warranty claim is approved:

  • We will cover return shipping costs.

  • Items must be returned using a trackable, secure method.

If no fault is found, return shipping will be at the customer’s expense.

2. Packaging Requirements

Items returned under warranty or due to a confirmed fault must be sent back in:

  • Original packaging

  • Jewellery boxes

  • Certificates or documents included with purchase

Items damaged due to improper packaging cannot be assessed or covered.
